Logo Color

The full color logo should only be reproduced in our primary color + Sonepar's tagline color. Our primary color is Summit Dark Blue (Pantone 548). Sonepar's tagline is reproduced in the Sonepar Primary Blue Color. The logo may also be reproduced in black when appropriate, for example, in black and white applications such as invoices, forms, etc. The logo may be reproduced in white on dark backgrounds.

Logo Usage and Guidelines

The Summit logo should always appear with a minimum area of clear space around it – an area free of type and graphics. The clear space around the logo maintains the mark’s integrity, impact and legibility. Do not stretch, condense or distort the logo. Modifying the logo weakens its impact and detracts from a consistent presentation of the Summit brand. Maintain the logo’s proportion when enlarging or reducing. In most applications, pressing the shift key as you enlarge or reduce will ensure proper proportional scaling.

Summit Logo Clear Space

In printed materials, the logo may not be reproduced in sizes less than 1" wide*. The minimum size for electronic media is 72 pixels wide.

* Some exceptions may be necessary for the imprinting on certain promotional items, depending on imprint size limitations. Contact marketing for guidelines.

Practices to Avoid

The illustrations below describe some, but not all, of the more common misunderstandings and inappropriate uses of our logo.

Logo Avoid 1

Logo mark should not be on top of the logo type.

This logo is not using the correct typeface for "Electric Supply

The logo type is too high. It should align with the bottom of the logo mark.

Logo Avoid 5

This logo is missing the small "v" inside the triangle.

Extra space between logo mark and type & missing registration mark.

Other Practices to Avoid

  • Don’t re-create or re-arrange the elements of the logo.
  • Don’t combine the logo with any other marks, graphics or words.
  • Don’t outline the logo.
  • Don’t alter the logo, except to enlarge or reduce it proportionally.
  • Don’t change the color of the logo.
  • Don't reproduce the logo in more than one color.
  • Don’t place the logo over low-contrast backgrounds.
  • Don’t place the logo over intricate backgrounds.
  • Don’t use the logo within text.
  • Don’t apply dimensional effects such as edges, shadows or 3D treatments.
