Summit University helps associates new to the electrical industry quickly get up to speed on fundamentals of electricity, essential products and customer service, enabling them to be successful in their jobs.
Courses can be taken online or in classrooms. Associates can check out books from Summit U's library. The books are sent via inter-office mail across the company.
Personalized training plans, based on career aspirations and developmental needs, are created by simply selecting courses agreed on by associates and their supervisors. The training is completed during work hours.
Specific learning tracks also have been created to help associates at all levels of the company select the courses that will help them to be successful both in their current positions and desired roles. Associates can enroll in the tracks with one click through Summit U and make progress at their own pace.
