Look around at any installed fluorescent or incandescent lighting system and there is probably an LED equivalent. The sheer number of LED products that have hit the market in the past year is breathtaking.
And these are not just LED retrofit lamps. For example, instead of installing T-8 fluorescent fixtures (with ballasts, lamps, and lenses), you can install an LED lighting unit in that same space. Chances are good that LED unit will work with the existing lighting controls, including dimmers.
