HOUSTON – As part of its Houston area reorganization, Summit Electric Supply has promoted Steven Lincoln as the company’s service center leader in Clute, Texas. Lincoln has been serving as interim SCL since October when former SCL Rodney Ilseng was appointed to head the Houston service center. Dan Ferrari, whom Ilseng replaced, was appointed to the newly created post of regional vice president of the Gulf Coast Region in September.
Summit’s global export division is also based in Houston and reports to Ferrari.
“Steve has done a commendable job in maintaining the sales and business plan in Clute as well as handling his previous operations duty,” Ferrari said. “His familiarity in the market with both our customers and our people made him the natural choice for the leadership role of service center leader in Clute.”
Lincoln joined Summit in 2003 with the acquisition of Warren Electric, where he had worked for 13 years as a customer service representative. He continued that role for Summit before being promoted to operations manager in January 2009. He is a member of the local chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors.
