President and CEO Victor R. Jury Jr. has announced the company’s commitment to match up to $50,000 in associates’ donations for Haiti relief efforts to the Salvation Army and Compassion International.
“Though you haven’t heard much about them in the media, these two internationally recognized relief organizations are on the ground in Haiti and working diligently to help the people of Haiti,” Jury explained.
“While I remain a strong supporter of the American Red Cross, both personally and at Summit, I felt it best to try to help lesser known organizations continue their work in Haiti, knowing that the Red Cross is receiving the bulk of the disaster relief donations and many other worthy organizations need support as well.”
Jury made the announcement today to his 517-member staff across all 19 Summit markets.
