Summit received the award based on purchases it made with IMARK suppliers in fiscal year 2012, real purchase growth in FY 2012 compared to FY 2011, as well as the number of IMARK suppliers with whom the company does business.
In a message to Summit associates, Summit President and CEO Victor R. Jury Jr. said “this is a very positive statement to our suppliers that we honor our commitments and that we are a great choice to pursue opportunities within our markets.”
Summit was among other IMARK Group member companies who received awards for their distinguished performance during the fiscal year July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012. Winners were announced at the IMARK Group Annual Meeting on October 15 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
IMARK Group's President and CEO Bob Smith presented Summit's Purchasing Power Award to Sheila Hernandez, Summit's vice president of marketing.
