OG&E Seeks Regulatory Approval of Conservation, Efficiency Programs

Oklahoma Gas & Electric (OG&E) has filed an application with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission seeking approval of a Comprehensive Demand Program portfolio designed to promote energy efficiency and conservation for each class of OG&E customers. Eight separate programs are proposed, ranging from residential weatherization to commercial lighting, promoting fluorescent lighting and new lighting technologies. If approved, OG&E would expect to implement the Demand Programs in January 2010.  09/17 PRNewswire-FirstCall
