CFL Campaigns Help Lower Electricity Bills for Countries Most in Need

Worldwide demand for lighting is projected to grow by 4.5 percent annually through 2014, with the highest growth rates in emerging markets. However, an estimated 70 percent of global lighting sales comprise inefficient incandescent light bulbs, according to the Global Environment Facility.
