For international distribution of electrical equipment and supplies, Summit Electric Supply's Global Export Division, based in Houston, is a convenient one-stop center.

The division's experienced team of multi-lingual export professionals has an extensive knowledge of export laws and regulations, packaging and shipping procedures, and the preparation of customized letters of credit.

Our international customers include engineering companies, energy firms, construction companies, petrochemical plants, fertilizer plants, small international distributors, brokers and resellers.

Most of our overseas clients do not have a U.S. presence, and so rely on Summit to get their project materials delivered on time and in compliance with international requirements.

International services include Summit OnSite®, an inventory management capability that ensures stock items required for long-term projects are maintained on the job site, if necessary.

Summit currently ships product into 25 countries, including the seven individual emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates.

Others include: Ecuador, Mexico, Brazil, Columbia, Venezuela, Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Curacao, Surinam, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Pakistan, India, Singapore, Egypt, United Kingdom, Republic of Yemen, Sierra Leone, and Angola.

The division can provide services in seven languages: English, Spanish, Arabic, Greek, Urdu, Hindi, and Gujarati, the second most common language of India besides Hindi.
