Sylvania 320W Metalarc® Powerball Ceramic Lamps

Introducing the newest members of OSRAM SYLVANIA's ceramic metal halide family: 320W Metalarc® POWERBALL CERAMIC lamps. The MCP320/PS/BU-ONLY/840 has an efficacy of 117LPW, establishing it as the most energy efficient metal halide light source in the Metalarc® family. These lamps comply with the new 2005 NEC requirements for open fixtures (TYPE O rating), feature 20,000 hours average rated life and are available in clear (4000K) and coated (3900K) versions both with a CRI of 85.

At 37,500 initial lumens, the 320W Metalarc® POWERBALL CERAMIC lamp is an excellent alternative to standard 400W metal halide or fluorescent lamps in high-bay applications. Replacing a standard 400W ANSI M59 lamp and ballast system with a 320W ANSI M154 POWERBALL system yields 20% in energy savings while increasing light levels by 12%. These lamps are also more efficient and deliver more light than competitive 350W pulse start & ceramic metal halide lamps. The incorporation of the advanced POWERBALL ceramic arc tube provides the benefits of reduced color shift through life, and exceptional color rendering when compared to quartz metal halide lamps.
