OFFICIAL RULES — SUMMIT’s Red Wild & Blue ATV Giveaway Event in Houston, TX

CONTEST PERIOD: The contest period starts at 4:00 pm on October 20, 2005 at SUMMIT’s Red, Wild & Blue ATV Giveaway Event in Houston, TX. The contest period will end at approximately 7:15 pm CT on October 20, 2005 when the winning name is drawn.

CONTEST SPONSORS: SUMMIT Electric Supply (Houston Service Center), Hoffman, Sylvania, Thomas & Betts, Advance Transformers, Panduit, Cooper Crouse-Hinds, Bussmann, Eaton/Cutler-Hammer, FCI Burndy, Bell & McCoy, Tyco Electrical & Metal Products, Hubbell Wiring.

HOW TO ENTER: On October 20, 2005, SUMMIT's Customers who attend the Houston Red, Wild & Blue ATV Giveaway Event will be given a punch card at the Check In Table. The punch card will have a designated spot for every participating manufacturer or representative. The attendee will be required to visit the tables and get their card punched by each manufacturer or representative. The cards must be punched in the designated space with the appropriate punch. The attendee will then be required to enter their completed card in SUMMIT's ATV Drawing Tumbler in order to be eligible for the grand prize drawing. Incomplete cards will not be eligible to win. The grand prize ATV drawing will be held on October 20, 2005 in Houston, TX at approximately 7:15 pm CT.

HOW TO WIN: The random drawing will be conducted from all qualified entries received by the contest deadline. Random drawing will be conducted at SUMMIT’s Red, Wild & Blue ATV Giveaway Event in Houston, TX on October 20, 2005. The individual must be present to win. The ATV entry card must be completed and all the required squares punched. The result of the drawing will be final. By entering this contest, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of SUMMIT Electric Supply and the other contest sponsors relative to the contest. SUMMIT Electric Supply and the other sponsors are not responsible for lost or illegible entries, and no mechanically reproduced entries will be accepted.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to U.S. residents at least 21 years of age. Void where prohibited by law. The grand prize will be awarded based on the prizing policy of the winning individual’s company. If a winning individual’s company prohibits personal acceptance, the grand prize will be awarded to the company. The winner can not be an employee or an immediate relative of any employee of SUMMIT Electric Supply, or any of the other contest sponsors. The winner can not be an employee or immediate relative of a SUMMIT vendor and supplier. Winner must be a customer of SUMMIT Electric Supply.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY:  Entry for the Red, Wild & Blue ATV Giveaway Event can also be achieved by sending a postcard to SUMMIT Electric Supply, Red, Wild & Blue ATV Giveaway Event -Houston, PO Box 6409, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87197. Must be received on or before October 19, 2005.

PRIZES:  Two (2) grand prize winners will receive a 2005 Yamaha Bruin 250 ATV. Retail value of each grand prize is approximately $3500. Excluded from the grand prize are all federal, state and local taxes, the title and the license as well as insurance. Winner information (winner’s name, address, company and phone number, age and social security number) must be confirmed by October 31, 2005. If the winner is ineligible for any reason, an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries. Odds of winning the grand prize depends on the total number of entries received during the 2005 Houston Red, Wild & Blue ATV Giveaway Event. The grand prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash; substitutions may not be requested. By accepting the grand prize, winner will be deemed to agree to these Rules. SUMMIT Electric Supply and the other contest sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

WINNER RELEASES:  Grand prize must be claimed by October 31, 2005 or an alternate winner will be selected in a random drawing from all remaining eligible entries. Any winner, by acceptance, agrees to release and hold harmless SUMMIT Electric Supply and all the other contest sponsors, as well as their respective families, subsidiaries, divisions and related companies, suppliers, advertisers or judging agencies from any liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the grand prize. Winner must consent to the use of his/her name, voice, picture or other likeness without compensation for promotional purposes as may be determined by SUMMIT Electric Supply and the other contest sponsors. Winner must provide a photo identification and execute a SUMMIT Electric Supply Merchandise Release/Affidavit of Eligibility/Prize Acceptance form in order to receive the grand prize. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the grand prize and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:  Winner assumes liability for losses or injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the drawing, or by the acceptance, possession, use of, or failure to receive the grand prize. SUMMIT Electric Supply and the other contest sponsors are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, in the drawing or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of submissions in the drawing. SUMMIT Electric Supply and the other contest sponsors assume no responsibility for an error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, theft or destruction of authorized access to, or alteration of, entries.
