Summit University Offers Fast Track to Success

Summit University, an on-line learning management system, supports our commitment to ongoing training and development of associates.

Participation in Summit University has helped associates new to the electrical industry quickly get up to speed on fundamentals of electricity, essential products and customer service - enabling them to be successful in their jobs.

Summit U offers all of our associates more than 1,200 courses on products, management, general business topics, and much more.

This online education portal is an easy, convenient way to meet the required minimum average of three hours per month of training.

Personalized training plans, based on career aspirations and developmental needs, are created by simply selecting courses agreed on by associates and their supervisors. The training is completed during work hours.

Specific learning tracks also have been created to help associates at all levels of the company select the courses that will help them to be successful both in their current positions and desired roles. Associates can enroll in the tracks with one click through Summit U and make progress at their own pace.

Summit's internal training program also includes "counter school" and "customer service representative school" that teach the company's own style of customer service refined over decades of experience.
