Industrial chemical maker CRC introduced its new blend of synthetic lubricant that uses PTFE, anti-wear and extreme pressure additives. Syntha-Tech™ is NSF H1 registered for use in meat and poultry facilities because it is a non-flammable, zero VOC, food grade synthetic lubricant.

It penetrates cracks, crevices and joints to lubricate and protect all exposed metals. The PTFE additive minimizes surface contact and friction to reduce wear, extending equipment life and helping to maintain peak operating conditions.  Syntha-Tech™ Lubricant withstands extreme temperature ranges from -40° to 450° F. The lubricant comes in a 16-ounce aerosol can with an MSDS on the reverse side of the product label.

3M™’s newest portable labelers PL100 and PL200 offer hot keys for faster label formatting. The compact PL100 unit can print on a variety of materials, including heat shrink. The six hot keys allow printing of incremental text and numerical information in flag, fixed-length and vertical formats.

The PL200 is a powerful but lightweight unit rugged enough for job-site conditions. This unit also has one-touch hot keys and industry symbols for faster formatting. The PL200 allows you to save more than 100 customized labels for on-demand printing at job sites. Interchangeable cartridges are easy to load, remove and peel.

Arlington has come out with a new non-metallic, low-profile strain-relief cord grips to “put the squeeze” on cable. These low-cost cord connectors have a wide cable range and deliver superior pull-out resistance. The nylon gripper squeezs down on cable or cord, locking it firmly in place while the internal grommet assures a liquid-tight and oil-tight seal. These cord grips are available in white with matching white ceiling ring; nylon or zinc body with nut. Non-metallic or zinc. Includes sealing ring and locknut.
