SUMMIT: SOLID AND STABLE
Since its inception, Summit has placed a high priority on a conservative business model as well as ethical practices.
Ethics are the Core of our Values and Philosophy
Ethical business practices has been a hot topic in the media over the last couple of years but it has been core to Summit since we opened our doors in 1977. Our Statement of Ethics has been in place and has remained unchanged for over 20 years. In 2003 we were honored with the Samaritan
Counseling Center's Ethics in Business Award. Our Associates know that Summit expects honesty and integrity to be the foundation for all our business dealings and they will be the basis of our relationship with you.
Conservative Financial Practices
Long before the wave of corporate accounting scandals, Summit was committed to conservative financial accounting practices, audited financial statements, excellent credit history, above-average payment history and other key indicators of a strong, solid and stable company. We believe these practices are in the best long-term interests of our Customers, Vendor Partners and Associates.
Controlled Growth and Expansion
Summit has a corporate commitment to expansion only as we have the systems and the people to successfully support it.
As the first line of our mission statement reads, Summit is committed to earning the respect, confidence and loyalty of our Customers, Suppliers and Associates. We know that our business practices, our ethics and how we act, both as individuals and as a company, are key in accomplishing this goal. |
