What Does Quality Commitment Mean to Our Customers?
Based on Summit's values, our Quality Commitment gives us focus and direction. Not to be confused with common business hype, Summit's Quality Commitment is real, tangible, basic, and measurable. For Summit, our commitment to quality is the very heart of daily operations. Uncompromising integrity is one of our basic values. Summit cannot say one thing and do another. In proclaiming this commitment, we ask our Customers to hold us accountable to this standard.
Continuous Improvement
Through continually monitoring what we do, and by encouraging our Associates to contribute ideas, Summit constantly searches for areas to be improved. For our Customers, this means that our services become better, more reliable and cost effective; for Summit it means that our operating costs come down, permitting us to develop more services and systems with which to serve Customers. In addition, "continuous improvement" means that individual Associates are working to enhance their own specific contributions to Summit and our Customers.

We know that time and money are wasted for both our Customers and ourselves whenever a task or request is done incorrectly. By doing everything right the first time, Summit reduces our Customers' cost of doing business. This makes Summit the high value, hassle-free supplier we are committed to being.
Consistently Meeting or Exceeding Requirements
To provide quality products with quality systems, it is imperative that Summit know and understand our Customers' requirements. This means clear communication and well-developed systems. At the same time, we are committed to exceeding our Customer's requirements wherever possible, and to develop new product and service offerings in anticipation of future Customer needs. Summit is continually looking for ways to provide more than the minimum and to provide pleasant surprises to our Customers through extraordinary service.
