Albuquerque Service Center
Wiley Shaw
This electrical industry veteran started his career in 1971 and joined Summit in 1981. He serves as service center leader for two of Summit's three New Mexico locations, Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Mr. Shaw is a Gold Level graduate of the National Association of Electrical Distributors' Electrical Products Education Course known as EPEC. He holds a bachelor's degree from Kansas State University.
Austin Service Center
Matt Darling
Matt Darling began his career in the industry with a national electrical contracting firm in 1998. After spending 10 years working his way from warehouse assistant to corporate purchasing manager, he joined Summit in February 2009. He was promoted to service center leader in August 2010.
Beaumont Service Center
Mike Mares
Mike Mares served as an account manager with a major electrical manufacturer covering Dallas, Houston and West Texas for more than a decade before joining Summit in April 2005 as the LaPorte service center leader. He holds a bachelor's degree in industrial distribution from the University of Houston.
Broussard Service Center
Leland M. Sonnier
Leland M. Sonnier has more than 20 years of sales and management experience in the electrical wholesale industry. Mr. Sonnier began his career as an industrial outside sales representative focused on MRO contracts and providing full service solutions for industrial end users. He joined Summit in January 2010, and was promoted to service center leader for the Broussard location in March 2011.
Clute Service Center
Steve Lincoln
Steve Lincoln joined Summit in 2003 with the acquisition of Warren Electric, where he had worked for 13 years as a customer service representative. He continued that role for Summit before being promoted to operations manager in January 2009. Mr. Lincoln maintained both sales and business operations in Clute during a transition period and was promoted to service center leader in January 2010.
Corpus Christi Service Center
Ted Mendoza
This industry veteran joined Summit in June 2009. Mr. Mendoza spent half of his 30-year career in South Texas, making him a good fit for the Corpus Christi market. He has distinguished himself through his focus on customer service. He studied at both Texas A&M University’s industrial distribution program and at San Antonio College, where he earned an associate’s degree.
Dallas Service Center
Michael Kizer
Mike Kizer joining Summit in August 2009 as the Austin service center leader. He has been in the electrical distribution industry since 1995 and in management since 2000. His past experience includes serving as a branch manager and area manager for a large publicly traded distributor.
El Paso Service Center
Chris Gallegos
This El Paso native is an industry veteran who joined Summit as service center leader in November 2009. Mr. Gallegos worked his way up in the electrical industry, starting out as a truck driver in 1992 and moving into management in 2002 with a publicly traded national firm. He distinguished himself with that firm when he was chosen as manager of the year and his branch was selected as branch of the year. His market knowledge and industry experience make him an asset for Summit’s efforts in this strategic border city.
Farmington Service Center
Kenneth King
Launching his career with Summit in February 1991, Kenneth King started in the Farmington warehouse, then worked as a customer service representative, supervisor, and account manager before becoming service center leader in August 2001. He is a Gold Level graduate of the National Association of Electrical Distributors' Electrical Products Education Course known as EPEC.
Fort Worth Service Center
Richard Efurd
Richard Efurd joined Summit in 1978, and opened the Fort Worth service center in 1989. He has remained that location's only service center leader. He completed the Gold Level of the National Association of Electrical Distributors' Electrical Products Education Course known as EPEC. Mr. Efurd holds a bachelor's degree in business administration/marketing from Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
Gonzales Service Center
Damain Kerek
Mr. Kerek, Summit's Louisiana area manager, has been in electrical distribution since 1986 and in management since 1992. He joined Summit in April 2004 as service center leader of the Gonzales location.
Houston Service Center
Rodney Ilseng
Rodney Ilseng has been involved in electrical distribution since 1983. He joined Summit in April 2003 and served as both a service center leader and as Summit's regional strategic accounts manager in the Gulf Coast area. He was promoted to Houston service center leader in October 2009. Mr. Ilseng holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.
Killeen Service Center
Timothy Andrew Lowry
Timothy Andrew Lowry entered the electrical industry as an electrician back in 1998, learning the practical applications of products before joining the distributor/sales side of the industry in 2004. Mr. Lowry has spent most of his life in the Waco area. Lowry joined Summit in October 2009 as a project quotations specialist, also handling inside sales.

Ed Dowey
A marine industry veteran since 1991, Mr. Dowey joined Summit in August 2004 and was named director of the Marine Division in New Orleans in 2008. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of South Alabama.

Craig Rusk
A graduate of Arizona State University, Craig Rusk joined Summit in 1993, becoming a consistently top performing industrial account manager in the Phoenix market. His experience and knowledge of the market, combined with his strong sales performance record, made him a natural choice for service center leader. He was prmoted in September 2009.
San Antonio Service Center
Allen O'Dell
Allen O'Dell launched his career in the electrical distribution industry with Summit, rising quickly from his first position as a customer service representative in October 2004 to quotations manager by December 2005 and operations manager in November 2006. He was promoted to service center leader in July 2008.
